Claremont USD Districtwide Staff Development Day - August 26, 2024

School Counselor Specific. Exploring the 6-year plan feature in SchooLinks and developing an implementation plan to vertically articulate between Middle and High School. One session for understanding how the process works and how Counselors can access the information. The other session to give Counselors an opportunity as a group to identify implementation timelines, grade level standards, and integration of the College and Career Readiness Indicators. Counselors will have a better understanding of how to create a meaningful 6-year plan with students and develop a shared plan to provide students with a comprehensive approach to course selection at all secondary sites. Counselors will benefit through a collaborative and unified approach of college and career advising across all grade levels.
