Claremont USD Districtwide Staff Development Day - August 26, 2024

Review and refresh strategies to get students writing during the first month of school. Using the Write From The Beginning and Beyond writing structure and process, enables students to develop their own skills and confidence. This writing bootcamp includes 3 or more weeks of writing instruction to start off your school year. An overview of a 3-day writing lesson plan structure, flexible for up to 5 days of instruction, 3 or 4 distinct writing prompts to be used to kick start the year, resources for mini lessons and additional writing instruction across the curriculum.
Teachers will leave this session excited about teaching their students to write and with tangible and specific lessons to get started.
