Claremont USD Districtwide Staff Development Day - August 26, 2024

In this workshop educators will learn to facilitate age appropriate, trauma informed restorative circles with students in the classroom setting. They will learn to cultivate transparency and vulnerability through circle work which will enable them to develop rapport and meaningful relationships with their students. Participants will be presented with a framework for restorative practice and will understand how to use these expressions as a form of restorative discipline. Participants will be introduced to 2 types of restorative circles. Every participant will actively engage in circle learning.
