Claremont USD Districtwide Staff Development Day - August 26, 2024

Discuss universal design learning (UDL) and how the classroom design and environment can affect student learning variabilities. Discuss assistive technology (AT) tools that are currently available through the district as well as new accessibility tools coming to iPads this year. Attendees will become more familiar with the concepts of universal design learning (UDL) as it relates to classroom setup. Attendees will also learn about the assistive technology tools that are available through CUSD as well as new iOS accessibility features on the iPad. Staff will add new ideas about classroom setup as well as new understanding to assistive technology tools that are available to all CUSD students. ***Participants should bring a fully charged iPad.
