Claremont USD Districtwide Staff Development Day - August 26, 2024

This session will focus on strategies for managing your special education caseload and will include materials and ideas for parent communication, taking data, and behavior modification. I will demonstrate how data can tie into parent communication seamlessly using Class Dojo, and also teach ed specialists how to use a template I developed to write their own Social Stories. Data sheets, parent communication forms, and a template for writing your own social story, plus a custom social story written by teachers if time. Staff will receive valuable resources they can use over and over again (shared on Google Drive) as well as training on how to write a social narrative.
